Featuring Events Such As:

FAMILY DAY AT HARKNESS
Sunday, September 14th ~ 11am – 4pm 

The Youth Service Bureaus of Southeastern Connecticut and Friends of Harkness Memorial State Park invite you to participate in our annual event. This is the largest Family Day celebration in the area and, in the past, has attracted over 8,000 people from throughout CT. The day includes youth activities, performances, games, food & more!
 

HAUNTED GRAVEYARD AT LAKE COMPOUNCE
Friday, October 3rd 

Join us for a spooky evening of fun at Lake Compounce! Students in 6th grade and up can attend without an adult. The bus will leave WYSB at 4:30pm and will return at approximately 11pm. Don’t forget money for dinner!  Please contact WYSB for information about cost and to register.

RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR
Saturday, November 8th

TICKETS GO ON SALE AT 6:30PM ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th!

SKATEBOARD PARK UPDATE

  Phases One and Two of the Skateboard Park are now complete! An additional $30,000 is necessary in order to complete Phases Three and Four. Donations are being sought from interested skateboarders, families, and businesses. Checks in any amount can be made out to WYSB and mailed to 15 Rope Ferry Road, or dropped off at the office at 200 Boston Post Road, Waterford, CT 06385.

Our Mission

Waterford Youth Services Bureau, in partnership with parent and community resources, is committed to ensuring that our youth have information and activities that promote healthy social, emotional, and physical development.

We achieve this mission by providing positive programming for youth, education, advocacy, counseling, and support for families.

Who We Are

Youth Services Bureaus are regulated by Connecticut State Statue 10-19m and are charged with the provision of services and programs for all youth to develop positively and to function as responsible members of their communities.

Needs assessment, evaluation, and collaboration and coordination serve to identify community needs and to determine how these needs will be addressed.
